Americana | Robert Oberbeck in Darmstadt

Description

Today, Marburg-based singer-songwriter Robert Oberbeck is once again making an appearance at the Americana series. Inspired by American role models, he sings his own rock-infused songs and tells true stories, even when they may be fictional, about everyday struggles and small-town heroes, about doubters and families in turmoil, about those who long to break free as well as those who need a place to retreat. And he plays songs by Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty, and Bob Dylan. He’ll be accompanied this evening by Dennis Wutzke on guitar. © Waggonhalle Marburg
