As part of the Bandsupporter Rhein-Main-Neckar anniversary concerts, 20 years of live music for the region, there will be four live acts in the Keller: Light and Rain: Behind the project is Jan-Eric Schlachter from Wiesbaden, a multi-instrumentalist whose music combines the urgency of punk rock with the passion of indie-folk. Having grown up musically in the punk and hardcore scene, he has carved out his own path in the music landscape as a solo artist with over 200 concerts under his belt: atmospheric indie rock, soulful folk, and profound lyrics. Frank Albersmann: World-weariness, dark humor, and a healthy dose of seafaring romance. The songwriter from Viernheim tells love stories and modern fairy tales in a brash style, accompanied by bluesy, rock-infused guitar and a voice that’s sometimes soft and quiet, sometimes hard and raw. He explores the dark and drunken sides of the human mind and whisks his listeners away into the night. No frills, no hiding, pure, raw music. Aljoscha Crema with Alise Vito A duo that brings two worlds together. Aljoscha Crema, a Frankfurt-based pianist and songwriter, studied at Dr. Hoch’s Conservatory and played for ten years as the resident pianist at the Steigenberger Frankfurter Hof. By his side: Alise Vito, a soprano from Dnipro, Ukraine, trained at the “Mikhail Glinka” Music Academy in Dnipropetrovsk, who sang in various pop bands in her hometown until the outbreak of the war in 2022. Together they perform Ukrainian ballads, American songs, and German tunes at the intersection of jazz and pop, an evening full of history and humanity. Mimose embraces authenticity and vulnerability as strengths. Since 2018, she has been independently producing German indie pop. Her lyrics explore her own whirlwind of thoughts, living in the moment, doubts, fears, and the beauty of connection.
