Gazelle: Comedy Perle in Darmstadt

Description

An evening completely unfiltered, but packed with charming self-deprecating humor and brutally funny glimpses into Gazelle’s life. Gazelle has been making a name for herself on social media since 2021 with her comedy, delighting more than 390,000 people on TikTok and 270,000 on Instagram with her satirical videos. There, she not only shares what’s “typically German,” but also sparks reflection with posts on topics like queerness and being trans*. Her live show goes even further: “Stand-up tells the stories in a completely different and fresh way. There, I have the opportunity to share everything that doesn’t fit on social media at all. I can, so to speak, reintroduce myself from scratch.” And so the 37-year-old talks about growing up as a craftsman’s daughter and the ups and downs of being a dog mom in Berlin. With her signature Gazelle charm, she also takes a critical look at us as a society and, just like that, tackles nothing less than her own identity. True to the motto: Who am I, really, and if so, can I wear pink? On Tuesday, October 27, at the Centralstation.
