HIGHEST PRIMZAHL ON MARS & FAZE in Darmstadt

Description

HIGHEST PRIMZAHL ON MARS is a band from Frankfurt am Main that is redefining the boundaries of space rock and krautrock. Since its inception in 2023, the band has quickly earned a reputation as one of the most prolific and intense acts on the German psychedelic scene. The musicians have documented their passion for free improvisation and intense jams on three albums to date. Their sound is based on the principle of “cosmic mathematics.” While the two guitarists weave complex textures in a close dialogue, the whole is driven forward by a steady, driving pulse from the bass and drums. Although the tracks emerge without prior coordination, they possess a remarkable internal logic. Pulsating melodies unfold over driving sequencer passages and motoric rhythms: The Darmstadt-based quartet FAZE serves up hypnotic Krautrock with psych and garage influences. For fans of CAN, Osees, and Stereolab.
