Mighty Blue in Darmstadt

Description

Four seasoned musicians who’ve been making music for years, a passion for playing, and a repertoire that rocks, plus, since 2019, a female vocalist once again, that’s Mighty Blue. Two guitars, bass, and drums, combined with the vocals, deliver no-nonsense rock and atmospheric ballads, always with a passion for authentic, heartfelt music. Their repertoire ranges from Southern rock to the flashy songs of the ’70s to romantic rock from Canada. It includes both songs everyone knows and the occasional track that hasn’t been heard in a while. In addition to songs from the “Classic Rock” genre, the band, led by founding members and guitarists Steffen Decker and Erik Opper, also performs original rock songs that round out the setlist and are well-received by the audience. Mighty Blue means rock ’n’ roll and a great atmosphere, melodic, no-frills, and guaranteed to be free of pop hits.
