Inclusion on the dance floor! People with and without disabilities dance and celebrate together. For years, the “Tanzen Inklusive” series at Centralstation has proven that people with and without disabilities can have a lot of fun together while dancing. The event originated in 2016 at the “Alles inklusive?!” festival, when the Inclusive Martinsviertel, the Nieder-Ramstädter Diakonie, and Centralstation joined forces for the first time and threw a fantastic party with around 400 guests dancing joyfully. Since then, DJ Lucas Wermann from the Inklusives Martinsviertel and DJ Daniel Shy have been hosting this inclusive party at Centralstation several times a year, it has since become a regular and popular event on Darmstadt’s party calendar. The party is supported by the “Buntes Begegnen” initiative, which helps people make and deepen connections on the spot, whether by exchanging addresses or cell phone numbers for a future get-together or by discovering shared interests among guests who’ve just met. So “Tanzen Inklusive” is about more than just one evening: making connections, finding friends, and simply being together. The next event takes place on Friday, October 9. Note: This event features no strobe lights or wild lighting effects, but rather moving lights in time with the music. The volume is slightly lower than at other nightclubs, but it’s still loud enough.
