Theater Lakritz | The Washcloth Thief in Darmstadt

Description

Victorius can’t believe it: For days now, washcloths have been mysteriously disappearing from his clothesline! Even his favorite washcloth has already been taken. To catch the thief in the act, Victorius hatches a clever plan. While searching for the mysterious thief, he meets Lizzy, a lively little mouse. Can Lizzy help Victorius? A whirlwind adventure begins. “The Washcloth Thief” is an exciting and humorous detective story, staged with great attention to detail and empathy. This play by theater die stromer is a classic of children’s theater in the Rhine-Main region, and many parents who come to our performances today have already seen the play themselves as children. Incidentally, it was rehearsed and first performed back then at the boys’ school, with the premiere taking place on November 20, 1994. With a phased cast change, the production was added to the repertoire of Theater Lakritz, where many more generations can still roam through the laundry room with Lizzy and Victorius. Cast: Julia Lehn and Andreas Konrad | Direction and Music: Utz Bender Running time: approx. 50 minutes, ages 3 and up, recommended for kindergarten and preschool
