Thirty-eight places across Darmstadt, put together for new students at Hochschule Darmstadt who are still working out where anything is. This is not a campus tour. It goes where the city actually happens: the residence palace and the state museum in the centre, the parks people end up in between lectures, the Jugendstil hill on Mathildenhoehe, the lake at Grosser Woog, the stadium, the startup centre, and the quiet corners most students only find in their third semester. A stop opens when you get there and your phone confirms you are standing at it. You then get the story of the place, what it is for and why it is worth knowing, in your own language. Every verified stop earns points and coins, and the coins are redeemed at partner cafes in the city for a drink, a tea or a slice of cake. Walk it in one long day or collect the stops across your first weeks. There is no fixed order and no clock running.
