h_da Staff Week: Darmstadt Discovery in Darmstadt

Game Type: custom

City: Darmstadt

Nine stops through the centre of Darmstadt and up onto Mathildenhoehe, put together for guests of the h_da Erasmus+ International Staff Week. Each stop carries the historical and cultural background of the place, so the route works as a self-guided walk or alongside a host. It starts at the residence palace and its museum, passes the old white tower and the state museum, takes in the oldest public park in the city and the science and congress centre built over the medieval wall, meets a bronze comedy troupe outside the city library, and finishes on the hill where Darmstadt tried to redesign daily life.
