Die Route zeigt die wichtigsten Eingänge, Lernorte, Beratungsstellen, Fachbereiche, Institute und sozialen Orte rund um Karolinenplatz, Hochschulstraße, Magdalenenstraße und Alexanderstraße. Der Rundgang ist kurz, klar und praktisch. Jede Station erklärt, wofür das Gebäude genutzt wird, welche Einrichtungen dort sitzen und warum der Ort für das tägliche Campusleben wichtig ist.

Tour Route Stops (8 Locations)

  1. S1|01 University Centre, karo 5, Audimax — TU Darmstadt's main entrance building and one of the first places new students meet the university.
  2. S1|02 Old Main Building, west wing — The west wing of the Old Main Building links the historic campus with law, economics and digital university services.
  3. S1|03 Old Main Building — A symbolic campus building where teaching, advice, learning spaces, culture and student representation meet.
  4. S1|05 Maschinenhaus — A restored technical building with lecture and seminar spaces in the heart of the campus.
  5. S1|08 Mechanical Engineering — A mechanical engineering building in the historic technical area of Stadtmitte, currently under renovation.
  6. S1|09 Maschinenbauhalle Centre — A central mechanical engineering hall that represents the practical side of technical education, currently under renovation.
  7. S1|10 Printing Science Technology — A specialized technical building for printing science, production processes and applied engineering.
  8. S1|11 Cafeteria, including Otto Berndt Hall — One of the most social daily places on campus, with food, meeting space and the Otto Berndt Hall.
