Description

poetry slam // advance tickets €8 "Whoop whoop, the Kellerslam is back. After a short summer break and a refreshing dip at the lake, Darmstadt’s most underground poetry slam is back in the hallowed halls of the Schlosskeller. Here, the stars of tomorrow meet the old hands of yesterday. Here, people rhyme, write poetry, and tell stories until the cellar vaults shake. And best of all: as always at a poetry slam, you’re the jury and you decide who leaves the stage as the poetry king or queen.” This time, the lineup includes, among others: • Sven Hensel (Bochum) • GAX (Frankfurt am Main) • Elisa Schöttke (Mainz) • Marc Brae (Bad Soden) • that one Mehmet (Darmstadt) Featured Act: Diffarent MC Host: Tilman Döring Advance tickets: https://loveyourartist.com/de/profiles/schlosskeller-TP2SIU/events/kellerslam-darmstadt-EMLDJ9F Upcoming: Dec. 16 // Feb. 17 // Apr. 21 https://www.instagram.com/poetryslamdarmstadt_official/ The new-old regular poetry slam in Darmstadt. Here, we still head down to the basement for a good laugh. Every third Wednesday, once every two months, the team at SlamBasis e.V. in a new partnership with the Schlosskeller, brings you a poetic experience in a class of its own. Rising stars meet veterans, storytelling meets poetry, and bursts of laughter meet goosebumps. No one can predict what will happen. At a poetry slam, anything is allowed, as long as it involves the voice, language, and the body, and the best part is: you’re the judges! This is the stage; this is slam. Motivated artists of all stripes regularly gather here in the hallowed vaults of the Schlosskeller for a playful battle to win the audience’s favor and ascend to the poetic Olympus. In addition to invited poets, we also offer newcomers a chance to take the stage with us. Want to participate? Send an email to kontakt@slam-basis.de or sign up directly on the night of the event on our open list. If there are too many requests, spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The spectacle will be hosted by Darmstadt’s slam pioneer Tilman Döring.
