On 7 August, Klause goes tropical. Darmstadt's Jens Katz opens his vinyl bag full of cumbia, champeta and South American gems from the 70s and 80s, while Bogotá-born Flippo answers with slowed-down cumbia, dub and Caribbean slow jams. Expect warm basslines, unhurried tempos and music made for swaying, not rushing. Come early, stay late. Jens Katz is a DJ from Darmstadt with regular slots at Schlosskeller and Centralstation. Today he digs into cumbia, dub and world music, with a soft spot for South American vinyl from the 70s and 80s. Flippo comes from Bogotá, Colombia, where he holds a residency at Videoclub. Since 2023 he also co-hosts a radio show on Madrid's Radio Relativa. His crates are full of slow, mellow and warm dance records.
