About Umut
Umut Bilgiç is the Co-founder and CTO of CitySeek, a social city exploration platform based in Darmstadt, Germany. He leads architecture, infrastructure and scalability.
Umut co-founded CitySeek and leads its engineering. He builds the backend behind GPS-based exploration, live location checks, the challenges that make a walk into a game, and the social features that connect the people playing it. Scalability, data protection and the engineering culture are his. His work is the reason the platform stays quick while somebody is standing on a street corner waiting for it, which is the only moment that matters. He likes systems that hold up, and location-based ideas that turn out to be possible.
